To place a North Arrow

  1. Select the Place North Arrow tool.
  2. Enter a data point to place the origin for the North Arrow.
  3. Rotate the North Arrow to the desired direction, then enter a data point to place it.


    Note: Use Annotation Tool Settings to override the North Arrow symbology (for example, cell, level, or color).
